A first for BIBC Juniors….WELL DONE !!
During the season the juniors take part in club events, matches and competitions.
BIBC Juniors played their annual competition against the Visually Impaired in January.
The outcome was another victory for the Juniors on two rinks of triples 12-3 and 12-10.
Well done to the juniors who enjoyed playing against such experienced, well seasoned players.
Despite not bringing the trophy back to Bristol frm Jersey, our Juniors were in good spirits and so they should be. They lost by just 4 points and played extremely well. The ‘man of the match ‘ was Bristol’s Ben Kelly who had the highest individual score. The Juniors, especially in the ‘pairs’ and ‘singles’ showed just how well they play under pressure, with first class bowling in the ‘singles’ ….. had us on the edge of our seats. It was good to see friendships being reformed with everyone looking forward to February 2017 when Jersey Juniors come to us!
The Juniors would like to reiterate their thanks for all the support they received from BIBC members in raising funds for this trip….. THANK YOU!!!
BIBC Junior squad played well against Yeovil which was a fitting end to the season and all the hard work they had put in during the winter months. The Bristol Squad showed great team spirit under the support and guidance of their Captain Jordan Sparey.
