We provide three free coaching sessions with all equipment provided free of charge for all those interested in taking up the game. Just pay £3.50 for the two hour session rink fees. Come as you are, no special clothing is necessary, just flat soled shoes or socks on your feet to protect the bowls carpet. For the disabled we provide wheelchairs and other bowling aids specifically designed for use on the rinks. Coaching Sessions can be arranged at a time convenient to you. After the coaching sessions the club encourages novice bowlers to enjoy our umbrella sessions where those new to bowling integrate with more experienced bowlers.
As novices become more confident with bowling there is encouragement to take part in leagues, friendly and/or league matches.
Our BIBC coaching team also offers improver coaching for those wishing to develop their bowling skills on Friday afternoons from 2.00 to 4.00pm.
